Hey there, welcome to Simple Saturdays. In Wednesday's episode, episode 60, I gave you a new perspective along with a simple formula to handle your midlife procrastination. Now y'all, this was an eye-opener for me, so if you haven't heard it yet, you'll definitely wanna check it out. That's episode 60.

Midlife procrastination is insidious. It sneaks up on you when you're not paying attention and slowly creeps its way into your life and makes itself at home. It's like one of those climbing vines or the weeds that seem to suddenly take over your yard.

It's like you walk out of your door one day and say, "Hey, what's that? Where did that come from?", when the reality is it had been making a very slow progression into your life, and you weren't even aware of it.

One of the key reasons you don't want to have procrastination in your life is because it increases your stress levels, and that's because it makes you double-minded. Whether you want to admit it or not, that task or that chore or project or whatever it is, it is always floating around in the back of your mind, and it's going to distract you from being fully present in your life.

It's just the way things are. So today, why not grab your favorite beverage, sit down for a couple of minutes and make a list of all those unfinished activities in your life, personal and professional. Then decide which one — just one — you can get started on today. Baby step. Just take one little action that will move you forward today.

And for the record, you are not doing this alone. I'm writing my list right along with you so we can move into the holidays with a sense of accomplishment and a new level of excitement about the new year. How does that sound? That sounds amazing to me. :)
